In the early 1980's , I asked God for the gift of creativity. After taking local art classes and a stained glass workshop, I created custom stained glass windows and doors. Discovering that I could express myself in fiber as well as glass, a passion for textiles began to evolve. As I pursued my love of color and fibers, I developed an expertise in fabric dyeing and surface design. I use fabrics the same way a painter uses paint. These manipulated textiles along with commercial fabrics are used to create wall art. My studio is located in Tampa, Florida where I live with my husband, George and our cat, Petunia. We have 3 daughters and 6 grandchildren.
